hi if anyone has some advice it would be helpful.dropped my car off at the paint shop for some new paint of course and went to check on it yesterday and the guy say s we opened your trunk and it wont stay closed it keeps going up and down , so we are leaving it open acrack so it wont kill the battery so my ? is what can i do do i need to replace the latch or a switch the had the back bumper off to replace the fillers i wonder if they moved something ? thank you for any help rick.. :crying:

There's a switch that "clicks" when the trunk lid is closed, and that is what stops the motor from lifting back up. On your car I recall the switch being right on the side of the pull-down ass'y.
thanks katshot as soon as i get it back from the paint shop i will check that maybe they bumped it and knocked it out of adjustment when they took the bumper off thanks again rick :disappoin
