I have the stock wire wheel covers on my 1984 Coupe DeVille, but I'm wanting something different. I know the optional Cadillac wire wheels look good, but I'd really like something aluminum. Kind of steering toward the 94-96 Fleetwood factory wheels. Has anybody ever run these, and if so, do you have any pics? Also, other wheel options that some of you have on your cars might give me an idea. My preference is to use a factory GM wheel, but I'd be open to other options. Thanks in advance.

I've seen the factory aluminum alloy rims as early as 1980 models. For those who are learning, they look very similar to regular rims. Black paint and all.

The later fake wirewheel hubcaps are much lighter than the 1975 design types.

As many gearheads know, combination of light wheel/hubcap reduces unsprung weight and improves ride quality dramatically.

The WR Grace and Co wirewheels are very heavy and are best for cars where the ride quality is not paramount.

Of all the wheels to choose from, I really dig the 94-96 fleetwood GM factory wheels, but I've searched the internet for a picture of an 80-84 cadillac with those particular wheels, but have come up empty. My gut says that'd be a nice looking wheel on my car, but I'd really like to see a pic first.
