Hi all. My passenger window keeps poping out of the track.

The rollers look like little metal rectangles at the tip. They turn easy and it seems when they are parallel to the track they come out. They don't when perpendicular.

What I am wondering is are these just worn out rollers that lost the nylon roller tips or are these correct they just need to be tightened somehow to keep them from turning.

Any tips and advice is greatly appreciated.

While a pain, pull the door panel on the drivers side so you can see how the side that works operates. If in fact you do have worn out nylon tract bushings, I would bet that you will have a hard time finding them new. Most GM cars of the same era use the same parts. I got a working power window motor out of a 72' Olds 98 that was the same for my '68 CDV. It might be time for a trip to the wrecking yard. Good luck!
