I recently purchased a 1968 Coupe Deville and it started and ran, drove it home.
I did the plugs, wires, cap, rotor and a compression test while I was at it.
Upon trying to start the car with everything hooked back up it turned over once and then all electrical power to the car stopped.
Non of the accessories will power up with the key on and the starter won't kick over.
Is there a master fuse or something that I blew?
PS. The autozone plug wires that I bought are a total joke. Any recommendations for some decent ones?

reading your first post I knew it was just a loose terminal, glad that was easy for you.. What don't you like about the wires? Were the terminals on or do you have to cut and put them on?

It comes with the terminals on.
Boots are too tight and push off the terminals. Even after expanding the terminals a bit. I am not interested in checking my wires before every drive to make sure they are still on.
