Hello Cadillac family... I have a 1966 Eldorado and have already purchased the 1976 Cadillac 500 engine and transmission. I want to keep my 1966 switch pitch in the 1976 th400 case. Is this possible or do I need an earlier model th400?

Why do you want to keep the '66 switch pitch?

Better take off (which IMO would be wasted on a 200 hp 500)
The take off will come from the torque, not the hp. So you will be good with the th400 as it is :highfive:

It's a TORQUE converter, not a horsepower converter, I agree with 70eldo.
