1962 / 390 fuel filter glass cover

any idea where to get the glass cover for fuel filter ?

If you're REALLY lucky, a good boneyard might come up with one IF they are on some sort of network but they'd prolly gouge you $$ for it.

The other way is get a copy of HEMMINGS MOTOR NEWS and look thru the ads for parts places that might have such goodies for older classics.

Then again, others on this BB might come up with still better ideas.
(Machine one out of Lexan?)

Lexan is a very bad choice. Lexan and other polycarbonates react very badly with fuel and solvents. They craze and become extremely brittle.

Lexan is a very bad choice. Lexan and other polycarbonates react very badly with fuel and solvents. They craze and become extremely brittle.
That's why the question mark.
Surely there are some transparent/translucent plastics around which could be used or else keep hunting in a boneyard for old time fuel line parts with glass bits that MIGHT fit.
They show up on eBay every so often, in usuable shape. Unless they are perfect, in which case you'll pay lots of $$.
Just a wild guess, but possibly an air compressor supplier? some use a glass bowl for water seperators in the air supply hose fitting.
