I'm the owner of a 1953 series 62 sedan project. It's 99% complete but the interior would need
some restoration. I need the floor carpets and mats but I haven't found any information relative
to this parts. It seems that the 1954-1956 models have the Daytona weave cloth but i'm not sure
if this can be applied to the '53 units. And what about color?
This is a picture of the actual interior of my car

My grandmother used to have a green 55 Sedan years ago. I really liked the color. Green exterior with light green top and Green interior. It was unique.
You may be able to source some info from the sites below. Also Hemmings Motor News has a lot of suppliers that can help out.

If you are not planning to replace the upholstery, but just freshen it up, you can try a product like "color coat" made by SEM. It is a flexible coating for fabrics, plastic, vinyl, carpet, etc. It works great, I've used a lot of it!
Also, the carpet you are looking for should be available at StockInteriors.com. They have supplied carpets for many of the cars in the collection, without disappointment.
Enjoy the journey, Gary.
