18" Wheel Perforamance Package / DVD Nav?

On another thread we discussed that the CTS-V has NAV and tire pressure monitor... but I understand that the TPM on the CTS-V displays the info on the instrument cluster... my 3.6L displays tire pressure on the DIC ... would that be the reason why the DVS/NAV is not offered with this trim? Would I be able to make the TPM work with an OEM DVD/NAV out of e-bay?
Thanks for any info...

The regular CTS has tire pressure monitors???? I though those were only for runflats on the CTS-V to reduce the weight of having a spare tire in the trunk. That's a cool feature if they do offer it with the display on the DIC. I don't understand why they wouldn't offer it on the Nav also, if they have it in the DIC head unit. Obviously the firmware isn't there on older Navs, since that wasn't an option previously. But the new Navs ought to have it, if TPS is also available.
Yep...I got my 2006 CTS 3.6L with the optional 18"wheel performance package... it comes with 9 spoke 18" and Bridgestone Potenza tires, sport tuned suspension... HID headlights and all. The Tire Pressure can be viewed at the top of the DIC when called with the scroll arrow. Also if the tire pressure is low it will show an alert message on the DIC...

Must be an 18" option, haven't heard of it till 2006, thanks for the info.
I am very happy with the car. I have no complaints about the finish and the interior. I know a lot of critics complain about the interior and the plastic dash... but it is an entry level Caddy... it is the best looking Caddy in my opinion but still... so I have no complaints. I love the way the thing handles and am scared to death to get a speeding ticket as I am a pilot on his ealry career... if I don't keep an eye on the speedometer I catch myself doing 90 and it feels I am at 45...:D
Post some pictures.. I have wanted those 18" rims for some time and I even bought the STS 9 Spokes (Look Identical) but I could not get them to work properly since the offsets were so different. I cant wait till they start to show up on Ebay and I will get them for sure.
As soon as I have them I will post... I have just moved into a new house a week ago and there are boxes all over the place... my brother in law lives in Texas and he's also wanting me to send him pics...
