I apologize ahead of time if this is a repeated question/thread topic, but when I searched, I only found people posting about the non Platinum headlights.

So... I absolutely love my ESV Platinum, and I'll keep her until she falls apart, but I've got a problem that is easily fixed with $1700 (sarcasm).

- Problem: condensation is taking over my passenger side assembly, and, over the last two years, all of the bulbs in that same assembly have started losing their sharp color in comparison to the driver side. I can technically deal with the condensation issue, but am I looking at two separate issues? Would there happen to be a part that I can buy to at least get the passenger bulbs back to OEM specs?

Thank you so much!

In 07/08 Cadillac has a little money to throw around after the BKY of GM. They specifically wanted to take on the German full size SUV coming at them.

08/09 Caddy went to Hella & Dräxelmeier to spend 20-$30M for finishing school. The US got LED headlamps, Rolls Royce grade aniline leather interiors trimmed with hand sewn French seams.

Those headlamps have a replaceable cooling fan with a mode that triggers a DTC when it fails. The lamps dims to about 70% to prevent overheating. If the ballast is going out, they’re replaceable too.

Было бы интересно разобрать один из них и посмотреть, как всё устроено. Похоже, что если кто-то узнает, что для этого нужно, то появится рынок для их ремонта.
I've disassembled them many times. Last time, I was able to greatly improve the low beam

Я много раз их разбирал. И в последний раз я даже значительно улучшил подсветку.

The manufacturer is Aozoom. I very much doubt that you will have such modules on the market, I tried to look for bi-led modules in your market and realized that your price is very high for very poor quality. There are a lot of different manufacturers on our market right now with prices ranging from $40 to $400. For about $150, you can buy the most excellent modules. As for Morimoto, they could not stay in our market due to poor quality, Hella does not produce modules of this type.

Same old sad song just like the our US 5 mph bumper mandate from 73-82.

What do you recommend to reseal the lenses back on the housings? The replacement lens I purchased, but not installed, were shipped with two sided tape affixed.
We do not charge fines if the speed limit is not more than 20 km/h. That is, at an acceptable speed of 60 km/h, you can drive 79 km/h and no one will fine you. I'll be happy to help you and try to answer all your questions, but I don't quite understand what the tape is about, so take a photo of what you bought.

Questions for Lsitnik: I have a 2013 Escalade Premium, with the LED headlights. The bottom 2 low beam lights on the right side have quit working, after having moisture inside the lens for a while. How do I open these things up? And if I do, can I repair the issue? Any ideas what I would need to fix? If not, are there aftermarket replacements for the Platilnum LED's that don't cost thousands of dollars?

Thank you

If there was water in the headlight, then most likely everything was oxidized there. and so they stopped working. As for spare parts, they are not sold separately, the only option is to buy the same broken headlight and assemble one of the two headlights. To disassemble the headlight, heat it to 100-120 degrees Celsius and carefully detach the glass from the case with a screwdriver. I really hope that the translator translated everything correctly. You can write to me on WhatsApp or Telegram, I will try to help you during the analysis of the headlight.
