I bought the after market LED running lights that replace the reflectors in the rear, Can someone help me out with the wiring? There is only power and ground so I would splice onto an accessory wire somewhere in the area but I have no idea what the color coding is for the rear of the car. Has anyone installed these or tapped into any of these wires in the back?

I want to say the parking light wire is purple or green on drivers side taillight, will have to check. That is going to be easiest spot to tie in, there is a grommet behind drivers side wheel where the rear bumper harness enters. I will find the taillight diagram and post it tonight

Man. You short out a wire or two and you are screwed. I would not screw with this. Maybe have a car customizer professionally do this.

Yeah thats the reason why I didnt want to mess with the tail lights because It could possibly be a different amount of resistance and it would set off the bcm

You can find them on ebay, There is still some left they're only $30 I got them in the mail yesterday. The marker itself is smoked out too, they look super nice.

At first I wanted to tap into tail lights but im a bit worried about setting off the BCM, any idea of another source I could tap from, I was thinking of an accessory wire of some sort, for say tapping into the license plate lighting 12v wire.

Tapping into the purple/gray wire is fine, I did that for my reverse light several months ago and no issues. Working with wiring can be safe, just disconnect your battery and let the car sit for 10 minutes first.

So this will give it running power ? or only activate it when its in reverse?

The purple & gray wire is the dim lead for the tail lights, so if you tapped that one then your bumper lights would turn on when your tail lights turn on.

The Euro spec cars have a rear foglight in between the reverse lights, the wire we have suggested will activate when parking lights are on. Anytime my headlights are on the rear foglight is on

Damn so how does that light work when you reverse?

There are reverse lights on both sides of the fog light, imagine there are three sections; center is fog light and both outer sides are reverse lights. It is an OEM GM part meant for European Cadillac ATS & CTS vehicles

Nice mod, I may try this. How much time did it take you?

An hour or so, just have to run a wire along bumper harness up into the trunk then splice into the taillight harness.
