I finally got around to installing a set of 12k springs on my KWs up front to match the 16k springs I had in the back.

Did the CS old style toe rods and wide trailing arms and I'm happy to report that the car rides amazing now.

Totally flat, neutral handeling which is what I hoped to achieve, car stays level even on hard braking and the suspension settings I had previously dialed in for the dampening will have to be readjusted.

Ride quality is not bad at all, I was concerned it may have a little bit of a harsher ride, but it actually improved a lot.

I think turning down the dampening on the shocks will net a very smooth ride now.

Readjusted the ride height to 36 cm front and rear and will be doing 255/40R19 square on my next set of tires to give me the ground clearance I require.

Waiting for delivery of these by end of December. They are available in 6 lug also. Eta wheels, forged T6.

And wrapping in Nardo grey.

I'm running 12k/12k on my KWs. I wouldn't say I noticed much of a degrade in ride quality, but it certainly didn't get better. For my preferences, I think I'm about at the limit of the damping adjustments.

I was previously running a 37cm up front and 36 cm in the rear with the kw springs that ship with the kit(9k), and 16k springs in the rear, with dampening set full hard and back 5 clicks in the front. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't a ideal solution either.

It's hard to explain, but it feels like I can feel the suspension articulating properly vs always feeling rear heavy and front floaty if that makes sense. I'm looking for the technical term, but it's escaping me.

Any suggestions on dampening settings?

Will running the lighter wheels have any effect on where to adjust them to when I change them out?

Current wheels are ~48 lbs, and I dislike them intensely. They look great however.

The new wheels will be 8.6kg(18.9 lbs) plus either pilot PS4 or Bridgestone S04.

So... I'm confused. Did you install 12k springs or were the springs they sent you not actually 12k?
Fronts are 12k.

I started with the KW springs that come with the KWs when you buy them.

I ordered 12/15 set from them. While I waited for them to arrive, I had scored a 12/16k setup, but the front was too small inner diameter to use, so I only used the rear springs.

That was 9k/16 set up.

The KW springs arrived, but they gave me the wrong size springs. Too large an inner diameter for the rear set. The fronts were fine, so I installed the 12k set.

Now rather than order yet another set of springs, I am ordering the new perches.

Had to find where I had it written down. I run the bump/compression setting (lower adjustment) kinda soft - somewhere between 6 and 8 clicks from full firm at both ends. The rebound setting (upper adjustment) is only 2 clicks from full firm. That's with 12k/12k springs.

That's not far off of mine currently.

I'm going to firm up the front tomorrow and see what happens.

I may end up splitting the difference between 360 and 370 at 365mm and seeing what happens. I figure at 370 I had no issues, and I'm just barely tapping 3 of 12 speed bumps at 360 so maybe.

My cats are 2.5" in goes up to 4" and back down to 2.5".

I'm hoping to get it right now and safely run a 3" exhaust in the near future.

I'll update Sat, but my perch adapters arrived in country today.

I'm switching to the 15k springs in the rear, down from 16k.

We will see how she goes. Raising the front again. Going up 5mm and it should be perfect. 365mm font and 360mm rear.

At 370 you could just barely tell unless I parked strange. At 360 it's just kissing the bumps with the cats. We will see what happens I guess.
