my car gave me a p0008-00 code and so im on rockauto and im looking at cloyes and melling for kits and while i know both are good, i wanted something different and so i decided to go with ina brand, because mace engineering only sells that setup and i did some reading on the ina brand and i like what i read.
now rockauto has 4 kits to pick from zc0063k, zc0064k, zc90753s, zc90753sx, i know 2 kits have sprockets and 2 dont but i dont understand what else are the differences to cause major price differences. i even went to the ina website and cant solve my question. engine and car is a 2009 cts4 with the 3.6l llt.

. and upon first impressions was, this is heavy and it smelled like crayons. one side of the box does have a made in china stamp and the other side says contains quality components purchased for the schaeffler group, but if it was made in china i could not tell you it was. it looks like you just had a machine shop make these parts fresh, all the parts have very nice machining and no poop looking castings, and there is laser etching on each part. now granted this is my first timing chain kit so i cant compare cloyes or melling, but im no stranger to quality machined parts and these fit the bill nicely.
