It has been a long time since I have been here. I had to sell my 05 White Diamond CTS due to another overseas assignment. Just got back stateside on Monday and couldn't wait to purchase my 09 CTS. I love this car and I hope to get some more good mod info from the forum.

Beautiful! Congrats! I just bought a black raven DI FE2 09 CTS myself last Thursday. The forum members were very helpful during my decision process. So far, everything is perfect! 'Hope you're enjoying the car as much as I am.

Looks great! There's definitely something to be said for a clean black car. Quick question...What is the shiny chrome oval above the wreath on the front grille? Dealer tag or something?

That is a Cadillac Heritage of Ownership badge:

These are paid for by the dealership if they choose to participate. The number on the badge indicates how many Cadillacs you have owned.

Welcome to the wonders of owning a black car, keeping her clean will drive you crazy :bonkers: I have the exact same as you and couldn't agree more that it looks amazing when clean.

However, yesterday, I found this stray cat sitting on my trunk lid. It jumped off the trunk lid and left big azz scratches and swirls from its paws. Too bad the CTS doesn't come with an electrical shock system to fry those critters.:histeric:
