Hmm, might have to buy another wagon when I get a house and go to town..

it’s not that hard, it’s all right here in this thread…
I definetly have the money to do it.. Just need a house with a nice garage.. (Dual lifts... Lots of tools, that sort of thing.)

Oh and I have a 5.3 I will be pulling out of my truck here before long and replacing with a 6.6L (6.0 with stroker).

Probably need to get the projects I have now done before I take on another... But never know. When I have a house, if I see a deal on one I may grab it.
Projects I have now - Put SC on my wagon.
Upgrading my 03 Avalance. Eventually will pull frame off and clean it up, maybe do some suspension upgrades as it gets ready to run a LOT of power once I add the whipple.
Put 94 Caprice back on the road. This will be a frame off if I don't decide to just strip it and buy an Impala to save on the work the body and frame needs. It will be a 1000+ hp car when done.

So yea... I have a little work to do before I get time to do much else. lol.

Any progress
does it run…
Lots of progress… been at it all week. It turns out the pins from the V6 ECM connecter were compatible with new one so I got them all swapped in and we’re good to go there. I have a buddy coming over tomorrow with hp tuner to take care of vats and everything else. In the mean time I only have a few things left to do. So the purple wire coming from pin 9 in the fuse box… does this just go right on the starter terminal ?

Also got a question about PIN 24 on the V6fuse box for IGNITION 1 VOLTAGE PRE CAT HEATING ELEMENT. So I have 4 wires going to the v8 harness fuse box for each sensor and only one wire coming from v6 for power. What should I do here?

Another misc thing I was trying to find a home for was PIN 57 on the J1 connector, it’s for VSS output to ABS system. Will this be open or should it terminate in somewhere ?
That’s all I got for now. Thank you

PIN #9 from the fuse box will go to the starter solenoid. Heavy purple wire.
PIN #24 from fuse box powers up left and right PRE cat heating elements. You can delete the left and right AFT cats heating elements since you have headers and no cats. Should be pink with black tracer.
you can delete PIN 57 on J1 because you get the VSS signal from circuit #817 this comes from the ABS PIN #32 and goes to PIN # 8 on X104. Should be dark green with white tracer…

You will prob need to do the 30 minute key relearn. YouTube has a good video on this, I had to do mine like three times before it finally took…
I studied up on the key relearn… looks pretty simple. After getting those few things addressed one of the main things left is I still have about 13 wires coming from the donor harness fuse box. A couple go to the TCM plug and the others are to random spots. Just about all of them are pink. With the exception of one wire that’s red and white. It goes into PIN 32 on the TCM connector.

all pink wires (with black stripe) will be battery positive WITH KEY ON they power up all your sensors, injectors, coils and O2 heating elements. You can run them to PIN 28 from the fuse box to get you going. You can put more than one wire on PIN 28 as long as the fuse is big enough. I would try to keep the O2 heating elements on its own dedicated fuse because they pull a lot of current. Remember, if your not using secondary cats you can eliminate those two heating elements.

all red wires with the white stripe will go to battery positive ALL THE TIME

You think pin 28 can handle all 8 injectors and then some ?

you might of missed this post
Okay I gotcha… I over looked the injector portion of it. So I will have 4 injector wires and 1 power for the coils coming off each fuse box pin? After that I’m left with 3 wires. 2 of them go to the TCM connector and 1 goes to the main plug on the transmission. I should be good to just run these 3 off PIN 28 on the fuse box right ?

Don’t think it’s critical but just want to make sure… the left bank is the side with cylinders 1,3,5,and 7 right ? I’ve always heard them as bank 1 and 2 so just wondering.

left and right are determined when sitting in the vehicle driver seat
bank one is determined which side of the engine is furthest forward…
