I recently purchased a '07 CTS. My wife wants to put a aftermarket remote start on it.
A buddy told me that it might void out some warranties.
Anybody know anything about this?
Thanks in advance.

In short.... Aftermarket products will NOT void manufacturers warranty. Unless install improperly, which goes with out saying anyways.

So have it installed professionally.

Heck when I use to work at an installer, we actually had local big name car dealers come to us. Basically we install aftermarket remote starters and such. This was way back in 2001.
