Sucks to have to make this post but I really don't know where to turn and since the internet knows all, here I am.

Story starts like this. My old neighbor had an 07 ESV for limo purposes. After shutting down the company he used it for personal use. At around 340xxx the trans finally went. It would work cold but wouldn't move once warmed up. He moved and left me the truck to repair. He eventually got me a transmission. I would move the truck around the yard here and there but it eventually ran on 4 cyl. Didn't think much of it, figured I would look into it once I brought it in (Inj fuse blown). After approx 6 months (truck did have moisture in it) I go to finally work on the trans and nothing (dead batt). After a battery swap I can get the dash and everything to work but the starter. Jumped the starter relay and it would crank, no start. Even the powertrain relay wouldn't come on. I plugged in the scanner and got the fun filled U0100 code. So far changes the fuse panel under hood since it had some corrosion, new ecu, bam etc. no change. I checked the transmission harness as well as I think everything else listed in any TSB I could find. I just downloaded Alldatadiy so I could at least get pinouts for it. Friend is coming by with the Snap-on Modis later to see if we can get anywhere vs my POS scan tool.

Please help me as I would like this truck gone and I'm sure he would like it back.

Well since this group was unable to point me in any direction I figured I should at least update what the problem was. Pin 20 of Connector C1/PCM J1 a Red wire with white trace was internally corroded about 1/2" from the terminal. The outer jacket looked good but internally was no longer making a connection. Pulled the terminal and soldered a new wire on and everything is back to normal for now. If this helps at least one person some day it was worth it. Have a good one.

Thanks for the update.
I don't have this exact problem, but I wonder how many of the other electronic problems I'm having may be from corroded wires.
