Hello all. Last week I purchased an 06 Lux III with 144k for 5 grand on the dot. This is my third Caddy, first was an 02 Deville and second was an 04 CTS (still own that one).
Overall im pretty pleased about the purchase. The paint was in great shape as was the interior, no check engine lights, and the only warning on the DIC was about replacing the TPMS sensors.
I guess im slightly jarred from used car sales because they usually have a CE light from one code or another..so at 144k Im wondering if they have disabled any sensors?
Also the ride is nice and smooth, BUT im getting vibrations from the gas/brake pedal. Not surprising as my previous Deville had the shimmy. Is there an easy way to tell if I have the OEM spec shocks/struts?
Fortunately it seems all the features still work besides the heated/cooled seats. I saw the thread on the reason behind this and its shocking that never became a recall..
