Wanted Vauss by MC2 but it is no longer in production so did a bit of homework here.

GMPartsDirect #88967222 for $392.00 each, meaning $1,568.00 for a set of 4 plus shipping and more for tires, etc...GM List:$664.40 and that means for 4 wheels it would be $2,657.60 plus, etc, etc...

From GM BuyPower "Build Your Own: Select Options and Packages" page, it shows for 3.6L V6 18" wheel performance package with all those goodies for $2,285.00 and that includes 9 spoke wheels, polished alloy (N87)

Go figure...

Should I go ahead with GMPartsDirect or hold my horses.

I hope to have an answer on the 9 and 12 spoke wheels coming in about a week. They gave me the idea that these wheels would include a tire combo package for just under 2K. As yet its all speculation because the dealers web site is not fully functional with the 06 goodies. If you can hang tough and see what happens.

I checked with my dealer, the aftermarket wheel/parts guy said the new 9spokes and 12spokes (both 18") were both $1,995 what a convienient number. I asked if that included tires. haha, no.

I'll be waiting to see what other options come up that seems rather pricey to me. I'm sure with GMparts direct or a similar supplier I could get them cheaper. Ohhhh, someday, someday...

Your best bet is to find someone who has an account w/a GM dealer. GMPartsdirect will bend you over on freight.

My birthday is coming up and I want to treat myself with new wheels. Has anyone found a better deal on those '06 wheels? Takeoffs are fine with me as long as they are made for '06 CTS...Thanks, thanks....
