I have been working to replace the interior in my Escalade over the winter. When I pulled it into the barn I cracked all the windows so the smell of the old carpet, etc. could air out. Now that I have everything back in I was going to close the windows to pull it outside, and the driver side switches don't work. To be clear the driver side switches for the passenger windows work, just not the driver side switches for the driver side windows. All other door mounted accessories work, i.e. pedal box adjustment, mirror, seat heat, etc.

I disassembled the switch, cleaned the boards and pins, but no change. Any suggestions short of replacement requiring reprogramming would be greatly appreciated.

Do you hear anything when you roll it up? Try helping it up a bit see if you can get anything out of it. Try going down and check all fuses just to be certain. If nothing then most likely window regulator and motor but usually they slow down tremendously and then they crap out

One scenario my gray locking clip broke for the master window plug, I had to rig it a bit to get it to work. Found a salvage truck and cut the harness and when I got home I fixed it the right way

I've messed with all the switches to see if they had any effect, nothing. I pulled the drivers door switch out, taken it apart and cleaned the boards and pins. No change. When it's connected, pressing the front left window button gives nothing, no noise or anything. Pushing the rear left window button (on the front door switch) I hear a click at the rear door, but no window motion. I can't see how both left door motors or regulators went bad at the same time. Both were working when I parked it up last fall, neither works now. I need to get the pinout and schematic for this door switch so I can narrow down whether the problem is in the wiring or motor/regulator.
