Looking for some help or insight on my CTS and it's ride. Seems like it bottoms out when I have passengers in the car. Shocks seem ok from the bounce test and ride height looks consistent on all for wheels at around 26 3/4". Anyone have any thoughts or ideas. Thanks.

I would imagine your rear shocks are going out if the extra weight causes your wheels to rub. Check all around your fender for where your rubbing. There should be a noticeable spot where the tire is hitting, It most likely has caused the fender to start popping out in a small spot.

You have a 10 year old car. How many miles?

You can call them shocks or you can call them struts. Manufacturers tell us to check them at 50K. I've been getting them to 100K. It depends on the road conditions around you. I would get a mechanic to check the struts and see if they are still holding. They do not last forever.

I also checked for bounce in the driveway, but that was not definitive.

Car has ~135,000 miles and I am not sure if the strut/shocks are original since I bought it at around 120,000.
