I am having all kinds of issues lately with this car and this is strange to me.

I just had the front 2 wheel bearings replaced with AC Delco parts.

Now, at slow speed (like 5-10 mph) the anti-lock brakes kick in. And when turning at the same speed, the traction control/stability control kicks in.

Codes I am getting are:

ABS U1000: Class 2 Communication Malfunction
RSS C0584 Current: Right Front Solenoid Circuit Open
RSS C0582 Current: Right Front Solenoid Circuit Low
RSS C0579 Current: Left Front Solenoid Circuit Open
RSS C0577 Current: Left front Solenoid Circuit Low

MORE electrical problems -

the codes you listed are pointing to failing front struts -
nothing to do with ABS or traction control -

The shocks will be replaced soon. This electrical pattern is making me want to give up this car.

........... or, when the shop did the front suspension work they failed to reconnect the CVRSS strut electrical connectors - and the Steering Wheel Position Sensor fault is also not good. (from the other roughly similar thread next to this one, Post #11)

Struts in front, shocks in the rear.

I thought that too - but - he wouldn't get the
C0582 Current: Right Front Solenoid Circuit Low - and
C0577 Current: Left front Solenoid Circuit Low - codes -

So you are saying it is possible that due to the failed shocks in the front, and those codes, it would have the ABS kick in at low speed/normal braking?

NO -
I'm saying the codes indicate that the electronics
within the struts are failing or have failed -

faulty/failing struts have absolutely no affect on the ABS system -

Yes, it has been decided... the front shocks will be replaced. But that still does not address the ABS kicking in for normal braking and the traction control/stability control kicking in while making slow turns out of my driveway. Could this too be related to ONE electrical issue as the culprit for all the problems?
