2010 CTS 3.6 - Just picked it up in February. Does anybody know if I can buy the gaskets/seals for the deck lid tail light? Mine are rotted and the previous owner tried to fix the problem with bathroom caulk. I'm hoping they can be bought separately from the tail light assembly, but I can't seem...

O2 sensors have welding beads on metal to metal contact, already was told the exhaust manifold gasket and all 3 o2 sensors need to be changed. Now it won't start at all, key is locked in the ignition, won't hold electrical power for crap, sounds like there's now a camshaft knock or something, I...

The Seville repairs are finished! Rusted wheels, front brakes along with rear air struts. Gave it a good cleaning inside and out while I was at it. Now to get back to the 83 Eldorado... When I went to retrieve it from the warehouse I noticed quite a puddle of transmission fluid on the floor. I...

I'm looking for a 1983 Deville 4100 ECM. I just bought back my first car from I was 16. Strange how I had just said I regretted getting rid of it, and then I found it FS on Craigslist. Anyways. I bought it and it refuses to start. It cranks, and will just about fire if you hold the pedal...

I am continuously looking for storage solutions so that I can store and expand my collection. All I've done so far is expensive storage facilities and private homes in the neighbourhood... but they have their drawbacks. But just today I was thinking... OUTDOOR storage space is dirt cheap. So...

What RWD Deville, Fleetwood Brougham/Brougham did you once own that you wish you still had in your possession and never sold/scrapped/traded-in, etc? Describe it and tell why you let it go. As for me, I sorely miss my 1979 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in midnight blue with a light blue...

I just got this 1986 caddy. Most receiver dryers I'm used to had a pressure switch on it for cycling the the compressor on/off. This one doesn't. somebody wired it to constantly run once the air is selected on. So my high side is about 100 psi and the low side goes from 58 down to 5PSI. The...

Cadillac fans will be thrilled to hear that Ed Whitacre himself has instructed the brand to build a true, full-size flagship above both the CTS and the upcoming XTS. The car has not been clearly defined yet. The Zeta platform (Holden Commodore, Chevrolet Camaro, etc.) is heavy and dated, and...

Out on the island I drive by all sorts of big old cars and it was such a nice day that I took my time and stopped to photograph the ones that were standing still. On my way to the office, about 10 miles one way, I see old Town Cars (lots of nice 85-89 and newer), Broughams and deVilles from the...

With the length of Canadian winters, how important is it to have a limited slip differential on a CTS in Canada? Looking at buying a rwd 2008 3.6 SFI auto with no limited slip diff. The limited slip appears to only be available on 2008 CTS's with the performance package.
