I recently purchased an 05 V and the previous owner blacked out the grill and emblems is it possible to remove the black paint without harming the original paint underneath? The front bumper is also in rough shape anybody have an estimate of what getting it replaced/fixed would cost?

Hello all! This is my first post on here. Bought a 2013 CTS 3 weeks ago. I want to get some blacked out gloss emblems but was curious if I could swap them out with the newer type decal instead of the 2013 design.
