Hola.

If you can believe this link, in 2013 the SRX will get an updated grille and the 3.6-liter, direct-injection V-6 engine currently used in the Chevrolet Camaro. Sube

What ya got and who did you get it from? I am pricing out the difference between having my bored and then getting a rotating assembly, or just buying a short block, fix mine and sell it. So... what ya all got?
  4. Northstar Engines and System Technical Discussion
This may have been brought up somewhere in the forums but why is it that Cadillac never created a larger displacement version of the Northstar engine ie., 5.6L or greater after all these years? I would definitely liked to have seen it.
  5. XLR-V Series Forum - 2005-2009
I have not been able to get any kind of an answer to this question: Why does the DTS have a Northstar with 4.6 and the XLR V Northstar is 4.4? Thanks, Ed
  6. 2004-2007 CTS-V General Discussion
Hey guys, I should be taking delivery of my '06 CTS-V in a few weeks or less. After perusing the vette/LS1tech boards for a while (this is my first GM LS motor, having delt with Ford 4v stuff in the past) I see that 400rw seems to be doable with the stock longblock + bolt ons/full exhaust/tune...

Triple black 1973 Lincoln Mark IV. Pretty cool stock, but this owner threw in a Ford "Toploader" 4 speed manual with floor shifter. It's got some other aftermarket parts too, but the 4 speed is so cool! I can't imagine rowing gears in something that size with that much power (the manuals I'm...

  9. CTS First Generation Forum - 2003-2007
I own the 2.8L engine but I sort of regret I didn't shell out the extra money for the 3.6L. Its not that its not a good engine but they dont make anything for the 2.8L. Does anyone know if anything is in development? But let me know what you think of the engine guys. Thanks.

    Will the exhaust off a 2005 V fit on my 2006 2.8?
  11. CTS First Generation Forum - 2003-2007
I talked to my dealer last week, after I returned the BLS. He calculated a new lease contract if I would take the BLS 2.8. Turns out, since they have some advantage packages, that I would pay the same monthly if I would trade in my 03 CTS. He was very pleased to see my 03 CTS with the new...

Taking an unusually public swipe at another industry, Chrysler's chief spokesman slammed major oil companies Monday, accusing them of greed and indifference to the environment. Read it: Auto, oil industries trade jabs Here we go again. Just as the weather warms and Americans are turning their...

  18. 2004-2007 CTS-V Performance Mods
according to GM hight tech mag. - a 6.3 litre 430-450 HP engine to go into the 2008 gto. Looks like the ls3 will not be blown like a few of us thought here. I was really thinking this engine would be a variant of the ls2 with a blower. if caddy were to chose this engine instead of the ls7 it...

Bro-Ham wants me to help him remove the variable displacement stuff on his '81 FWB Coupe. I have no idea how to do this, do I just pull a plug or something or is there another way, that gets rid of all that hardware?
  20. Escalade, EXT and ESV Forum - 2007-2014
I am new to the forum and I am looking to buy a 2007 Escalade this summer. However, on the forums I have read that the variable displacement Escalade will be out in the fall. Is this something worth waiting for? Will the improvement in mileage be worth it? Will this drive up the price?
