    New car. What problems?!?

Hi all. I have been active and posting for a while about my 1987 Brougham. A friend of mine screwed me over when he sent me a post for a 1968 coupe Deville and he sent it to my wife as well and she loved it. So we ended up buying it. It is a one owner, his grandparents owned it first, and it has 85,000 miles on it. Besides for the fact that it hasn’t been running in a few years and I will do the necessary repairs To get it running again, what are the common problems with these cars?
It is a very solid car with original documentation and everything looks very complete. Is there anything that I should be scared off right off the bat? The only other problem with it right now is that it needs most likely a driver side window regulator. I am hurt that these are hard to replace. Thank you for any information in advance.

What I would say is to use 15-40w or 20-50w diesel oil in that motor.

Why use such heavy weight? 5-10w30 is recommended in the manual. Thanks

Depends on where you live and how old the engine is. Down here, especially if a rebuild wasn't done, then an xw-40 or xw-50 is fine.
