    Per Car and Driver:
"UPDATE 11/26/18: Chevrolet representative Kevin Kelly confirmed to C/D that Cruze and Volt production will end in March 2019 and Impala production will end in the fourth quarter of 2019. GM representative Jim Cain said that Buick LaCrosse production will also end in March, Cadillac XTS production will end in the fourth quarter of 2019, and Cadillac CT6 production will end in mid-2019, although he also added that this announcement will not affect the recently revealed CT6-V. GM will do a short production run of CT6-V models for the U.S. market before the Hamtramck plant shuts down, Cain told C/D."

    Don't know, just saying.

GM should have died in 09-10 but then, there was Odumdum.

Still everyone wants the Escalade, Yukon, Tahoe, Suburban, Denali anything, or similar.
I looked at Suburban/Yukon XL and I couldn't afford one that didn't have 150k already.
    $80k+ for a Yukon XL $100k for an Escalade! That's a $1000+ monthly lease!
Some of the greatest cars made today are the Cadillac V Series and even those are 100k.
Hell, the XTS V-Sport is 70k+

They stay alive by making a profit!

It will go full circle though. But right now, one of the best value in automobiles is the Cadillac sedan.

    IMHO

Even the Tahoe is averaging $70k MSRP now, and they can't build enough of them. I've got a 2010 with 80k and it would still sell for $20-22k!!! Full-size SUVs are literal gold, and GM is fortunate to offer the best ones in the category. GM really could survive comfortably just selling full size trucks and SUVs.
