    Tire pressure monitor

    Is the battery in the TPM's replaceable?
    My '05 is 13 years old and the tire pressure warning and readings are displayed.
    Manual check of pressure is fine.

    The TPMS sensor batteries are sealed within the sensor body and are not replaceable. Typically, they last about twelve years, so a failure is not unexpected on a 2005 model year vehicle.

    In putting a new set of wheels on my CTS I used these. Sam's charged $5 a wheel to install and I used one of these to reset the computer. YMMV.
