    Mountain mode

    When you put the car in mountain mode should the EV range display increase while driving. and should the battery display say battery or full power? Still learning.

    No, the range indicator will not show an increase when in mountain mode. The car is just "banking" the added power in reserve for a long climb. Range displayed will remain approximately the same - just like when in Hold mode.

    That said, if you park and turn off the car and then back on, you will see the power/range that was added by mountain mode - if you didn't use any of it. You can even use this trick when driving around town to "generate power" for the future ignition cycle. It is not efficient (and the generator will run loud and at high RPM), but this works if you want to have electric power for a later trip. Not a typical scenario, but I've used it occasionally.
