    Oil Change

I'm gonna try and change the oil in this bugger. Is there anything I should know? Is it any different than changing oil in a regular car?

It’s very, very low. To the point that you’ll have difficulty getting it up even Race Ramps. Other than that, it’s straightforward. Be sure to reset your oil life monitor.

Easy to get to filter and pan bolt. Note that it is REALLY easy to strip the head on the pan bolt, use your best fitting 6 pt on it. If you round it, just get it out with vise grips, and put a new one in. I know GM went to that little 10mm head to stop over torquing, but it just creates a new problem of easily rounded nut.

    Re: Oil Change

Thank you, I wondered about this as well. I suppose though if you are just running the elec than there is no need for an oil change every 5k on synthetic? Is that correct?
Also it's always a good idea, (at least I did) to replace their pan bolt with a magnetic one. I did it with my old Corvettes. I'm really anal though. I do not own one of these yet. I'm just going to post a WTB.
