    Flushing coolant on a 2002 deville

    Is there anything special I need to know. I already have 2 gallons of pre-mixed dexcool. Is that gonna be enough. Thanks in advance guys you always help meout.

    If you use a pressure/vacuum exchange machine you'll need just over 12 quarts to do a complete job. A simple drain and fill - your 8 quarts, should be about enough.

    Just make sure to do a correct exchange, fill, and purge, otherwise you'll have nagging problems with temporary overheat events for a while.

    Pre-mix coolant is highway robbery. At just over $15 a gallon for pre-mix you're paying over $7.50 for 2 quarts of water.
