I bought mine from an on-line salvage yard for $89 plus $5 or so shipping - do a bit of searching for CTS parts. I don't have the link anymore, but there are a number of sources out there...

same here I got it for 100. Go check out www.car-part.com

Put in 2005 cadillac cts and for part put ''speedometer'' NOT instrument cluster. It will give you prices from high to low and the phone numbers of various salvage yards. Call em up and have em ship it out. Then you need to send it out to SPecmo (madison hieghts, MI) to reprogram the milage which is about 90 dollars.

Great, thanks for the advice. I'll definitely check into that next month or so when the stereo is paid off.

    Hey guys...
I noticed that your clusters look different then mine.
mine are all black with chrom rings around them...
Is that because mine is 2005 or not...?
Also I think that a cluster like mine looks alot better...

Don't mind the speed shown in the picture... I photoshoped it

Is there an actual TSB number for this swap? I find my dealer much more "co-operative" when I have paper to back it up. Thanks!

I sent Reed an email about it, to see if he can put that on his FAQ site... not sure if he did or not as of yet... (what's TSB stand for anyways - I'm sure I could figure it out but am lazzyyy)

Re: Cluster swap from 03 to 04 - no more analog clock!!!

Unfortunately I dont think there is a TSB on this repair. Its another issue I've tried unsuccessfully to have addressed at my dealership. Pretty much if theres not a TSB, they've "never heard of it". hineyhole s.

*EDIT* part deux - eh, whatever...

*EDIT* - Hey! My little comment at the end was automatically edited to say "anal cavities" (I typed "A-$-$-h-o-l-e-s but without the dashes...hmm...)

They've got a database of TSB's and similar documents over at www.cadillacfaq.com. No way to run a search of it though, you have to scroll through. Last time I checked (about a month ago) the cluster issue wasnt in there, but anyone else can feel free to look and see if I missed it.

Have you ever seen "fight club"? If A+B=C, and C is less than X, then they dont do the recall.
