Very heavy when you factor the run flat tire on it

Fronts are lighter than rears since they are narrower

If you look on the Cadillac website you can find the brochures for previous model years. The brochures won’t say weights but it will say if the wheels are cast or forged. That will give you an idea if one will be heavier than the other. Forged wheels are typically lighter than cast.

I haven't seen specific weight specs for the coupe wheels, but I know when I found info for the 18" wheels on the sedan, the standard ones were forged and 24-25 lbs. The 'premium' multi-spoke wheels are cast and heavier - closer to 29 lbs. I'd expect the specs for the 18" wheels on the coupe to be similar, i.e. yours are probably forged and 24-25 lbs. each...forged > cast - lighter and stronger.

I thought this one is the premium standard 18 inch wheel. Which of the two is lighter?

    Re: OEM wheel weight

    From https://www.cadillacatsowners.com/sho...ory-ATS-wheels

The 17x8" painted wheels for the base model weigh 23.52 lbs each.

The 17x8" polished wheels for the Luxury collection (optional on base) weigh 25.26 lbs each.

The 17x8" painted wheels for the Performance collection weigh 25.26 lbs each.

The 18x8" machined wheels for the Premium collection (optional on Performance) weigh 24.32 lbs each.

The 18x9" machined rear wheels for the RWD Premium collection weigh 25.11 lbs each.

The 18x8" polished wheels (optional on Luxury or Premium collection) weigh 28.84 lbs each.

The 18x9" polished rear wheels (optional on RWD Premium collection) weigh 29.67 lbs each.

I'm guessing the coupe's wheels would be around 25 lbs

Different 17" wheels perhaps? I can see there are at least 3 different 17" wheels. Perhaps one is lighter than the other.

^True, but for a couple years there was only one 17" wheel (middle one above). That would make sense though, so those stats must take into account all years.

    Snagged from the 2016 brochure:

So for the wheels in the pictures (A-E are sedan, F-H are coupe), if we assign to them...
    A B C D
    E F G H

    (A) 17x8" painted wheels for the base model weigh 23.52 lbs each.
    (B) 17x8" painted wheels for the Performance collection weigh 25.26 lbs each.
    (C) 17x8" polished wheels for the Luxury collection (optional on base) weigh 25.26 lbs each.
    (D) 18x8" polished wheels (optional on Luxury or Premium collection) weigh 28.84 lbs each. (F) should weigh the same on the coupe
    (D) 18x9" polished rear wheels (optional on RWD Premium collection) weigh 29.67 lbs each. (G) should weigh the same on the coupe
    (E) 18x8" machined wheels for the Premium collection (optional on Performance) weigh 24.32 lbs each. (H) should weigh about the same on the coupe
    (E) 18x9" machined rear wheels for the RWD Premium collection weigh 25.11 lbs each. (H) should weigh about the same on the coupe

So to answer your question, (E) is the wheel that comes (or came ) as standard equipment on a Premium trim sedan. I stand corrected regarding the multi-spoke 'premium' wheel, as I duly note that they are in fact forged, not cast. The extra weight on them can be attributed simply to the extra material required for the design. I should also explain that I described wheel (D) as 'premium' (sorry for the confusion) because it's the only wheel that isn't standard (& hence carried a premium cost) on any sedan trim level.
