Thank you sir. Iíve recently placed a fresh set of Michelin Pilot Sports on the vehicle. What are some of the taller tires used on these vehicles?

Show us a pic. I might have a similar situation to yours (or when I come across one) I angle my entrance and exit. Take your time so that the car's weight doesn't bounce the front/back ends.

Park in the street? Is this your driveway? Or just some place you are visiting?

You'd think this issue would be noticed BEFORE building the house.

I will post pics later when I can snap some. I can get the vehicle up by angling, but it is not ideal. I will be placing a new front end on the vehicle - V look. Unsure if bumper cover and splitter will make the front end lower.

Re: your suggestion to park in the street - this is what caused the vehicle to be involved in its first and only collision. Horrible driver hit my parked car. To top it off, the car was garaged during the entirety its life until it encountered this driveway (with a garage at the top!)

You can add dirt on your driveway to make the slope more even. This would only work if you live in a rural area or your wife and neighbors are not anal.

Can you add some more concrete on the driveway to make it less steep?

Thanks for the suggestions. I am currently renting a home. This would be something that I would of course ask the landlord. I am sure that he would not be opposed seeing that he didnít his infiniti sedan up the driveway when I toured.

Itís quite steep. Steeper than above photo.

Is anyone aware of the V front bumper and splitter reducing ground clearance v stock? This is my first concern and could lead to remedies mentioned about adding some type of fill to the driveway. I wonít truly know until I get my car today or Monday.

Iíll be sure to get some photos up.

    Re: Steep Driveway - Suggestions?

I'd imagine the V bumper and splitter being at least a little lower than stock, will be interested to see the pictures. We went to look at a house a few weeks ago and the angle at which the driveway meets the road caused our CTS to scrape slightly, the driveway has a slightly steeper downhill at the end of it, which then meets the road that has a fairly large curve to it at the sides for drainage. Perfect storm to scrape the CTS (I shudder to think what it would have been like if we had taken my car to look, it's lowered).

With a rented house there might not be all that much you can do about it, the landlord is unlikely to want to cough up money to renovate the driveway and the town are unlikely to do anything about the street either.

I hope you don't get snow! Even in the photo, you wouldn't be able to see where your car is going into the garage. Ridiculous design on the house!

Just a developer selling both sides of a hill. Wonder if an incline like that meets zoning requirements - would be quite dangerous in an ice storm.

I suggest that the Pennsylvania Code has a slope limit for driveways of 8% max. See pages 6-8.

Taking out the trash would be easy though.
Seriously, anybody buying that property pictured in post #5 deserves what's coming to them.
