    engine cover

I have the "Appearance group" pkg covering my engine on my coupe. Has anyone tried to paint or wrap it. My shop says that a wrap won't stick to the plastic because its porous. So, I wondering if anyone tried to paint it?

I would say a wrap won't stick because it's textured. Properly prepped, it should be able to be painted. On my 09, part was painted silver by Cadillac from the factory.

I think so too. Besides if I get painted the design I want, i'll put it on during car shows. I think my "Appearance" pkg is just for show anyway. it serves no practical purpose. I have my intake cover off as we speak. I think it holds too much heat in the hot weather. I was thinking about having it airbrushed.
