Air filter replacement
My '04 CTS 3.6L needs a filter replacement. It's got a K&N right now, but my question is if I should clean it or go with a traditional OEM paper filter. I've been reading some disturbing posts on other websites re: the K&N and the amount of dirt that actually passes thru it.
I need your thoughts, please. I'm only as smart about cars as I can Google and YouTube, and I'm also just a girl. Thanks

Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone at all?

I've used K&N filters for over 20 years and have never had an issue. Keep the filter and relax.

Re: Air filter replacement
Throw away the K&N and buy a traditional air filter. By the time you buy the cleaner, wash it, air dry it and re-oil you won't be able to use your car for a day. Needless extra work for little to no benefit. I would not waste my money on them, pure hype IMO.
