    reflashing ECM 2004 3.6 cts P0443

    Ive replaced the purge valve ,canister vent valve , gas cap but the code comes on after cleared on next ignition cycle. Service manual says it should take 3 fails test before CEL on.
    Im thinking bad ecm

    Can the ecm need to be reflashed?

    My mechanic told me I had to change mine but idk 500$ seems pretty dumb to waste for an EVAP code. I still have to do it because of emission testing.
