    2004 SRX Sluggish When Accelerating

I have a 2004 SRX that I bought last year. I had the engine rebuilt at Lockhart Cadillac here in Indianapolis due to the timing chain breaking. Recently, my Check engine light is back on and any time I accelerate, it sputters and is very sluggish and the check engine light starts to blink. Is this an O2 censor issue or something worse? I am hesitant to take it back to the dealership if I don't have to, as the warranty is up and it took them two months to fix the engine last time due to screw ups on their part. Any suggestions?
