2003 CTS starts on second try.

A short history about the car. I bought the car from a buy here pay here place. I got it cheap because of an intermittent starting problem, "Crank Sensor". Since then I have replaced the temp sensor, thermostat, throttle body, timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets "left side still leaking..", and spark plugs. After all that neglected maintenance was complete the car ran great until a couple weeks ago. It starts but on the second try and it sputters to life when it does. Feels like it's missing for the first couple of minutes then it's fine. Last week I replaced the fuel filter, thinking the car was having trouble getting fuel. Later that week I bought some GM fuel system cleaner thinking I have a sticky fuel injector. Short of replacing the fuel pump and injectors next I would like some input. Something I'm over looking? Crank sensor again?

On a side note my wife thinks someone put something in her gas tank.

Did you do the PCV upgrade yet? Will stop the oil leak driver side valve gasket. Also idles smother.
