    I just looked on some GM software. The Catera unit appears to be a complete coil unit. It appears it is replaced as complete unit.

    That being said, it also appears that 3 and 6 do share the same coil.

    The spark plug wire diagram shows the coils like this.....

    5 3 1
    2 6 4
