    Unhappy Filling cooling system



    Hello,
    This is probably a stuiped question, but how do I fill my cooling system
    back up? After I drained it to put new coolant in it.
    Please Help.:

    If your car doesn't have a radiator cap, then you usually refill the coolant at the overflow bottle. Adding the coolant slowly will usually result in easier filling by not introducing too much air into the system. When you can't add anymore coolant (the coolant level is at the full mark) you can start your engine, allow it to get up to temperature, let it cool and top off your level. When adding, have an idea about how much the system should require so you'll know that you're no woefully underfilling it (an air bubble may prevent the correct amount to enter the system).
