97 Catera oil in coolant

I need help please. There doesn't appear to be any oil in the crank case, only oil in the cooling system. Is the problem more than likely a faulty oil cooler? What can I do to know if the head gasket isn't the problem? Wouldn't there be water in the oil too? Thanks

You would need to have a leak down test done to determine if the leak is coming from inside the engine. More often the trany cooler is the cause.
