    Red faceHey! need help please

maybe if i ask this way.....
on my 99 deville i have 225/60-16 tires on my stock rims. i would like to run 250 or 260 width and keep the same rims. is this possible without having a rubbing or clearance issue? if it is possible will it have a negative effect on ride?
i know a lot of that depends on the specific tire, i will be looking at grand touring (all season) types, but ones that are rated as quiet and luxuary ride.

IIRC, you shouldn't have a clearance problem, but i'll double check. If anything, the only way they would hurt the ride is make it a little harder to avoid potholes. I'll take the grip any day though. :coolgleam
