    Re: What's A Knuckle

It's what the hub/bearings bolt onto, what the control arms bolt onto, and what the calipers bolt onto.... It's easier to show you with a pic.

    Here:

The red part with the spindle through it is the knuckle.

They are also an integral part of your hands that connect your fingers. Lol!

I have a pic of them in the post about brake upgrades. It is a pic of my complete brake upgrade for my 93' SHO.

I have one in my back seat right now. Waiting to be installed. If you have clunking in the rear end, majority rules that its bad bushings in the knuckle.

Thanks for the info. Vertical play in a jacked rear wheel is a knuckle or bearing or both are the same... K_C

    Re: What's A Knuckle

It could possibly be the knuckle bushings, or it could be the bearing. You'd have to look at where the control arms bolt onto the knuckle while wiggling it to know if it's the bushings. Usually the bearings go before the bushings though.

Hello, I just wanted to say how grateful I am to your company... as those lovely folks over at Caddie don't carry them as a replacement part…… Your help when I needed it via phone was immediate and accurate. You set the bar for outstanding customer service. These are tough times and most of us are tightening our spending…….I will recommend your product to any and all caddie owners with the same very common problem.
    Thanks again,
