    '59 cad. brakes

I am new to the forum and have owned a '59 deville for about 8 years now. My hope was to install a disc brake package to this vehicle. Does ANYBODY know of a shop or another owner who has accomplished this modification? Any info. would be helpful. The big brake houses (Stainless Steel Brakes, etc) cannot help me.

What type of suspension setup do you have? I'll check and see what some of the dimensions of my suspension are, as mine is identical to the disk brake setup up to the backing plate.

Dave, thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay in my checking. I have a standard, factory-stock brake system. Big, heavy, drum brakes. I wanted to really fix this car up with a non-cadillac, crate-type engine; with the existing brakes, it would be had to bring that heavy of a car to a halt.
