'96 STS Suspension Questions
I am going to replace my shocks and front ball joints (I plan to order from GMpartsdirect as they seem to have the best prices) with OEM models, my question is should I also replace the bushings, particularly the rear bushings?
The I plan on taking the front control arm out of the car to do the ball joints even though you don't have to (so new bushings is a no brainer there), but what about the the rear upper/lower control arm bushings and the big one that the whole rear suspension hinges from?
Also, what about the front stabilizer bar links, these have attachment points that look like mini-ball joints should I replace them as well?
Also, what about new spring insulators for the front struts and rear springs?
The car has 128K miles and the suspension is loose and has no broken parts. Thanks for any advice in advance.
