98 Deville Passive Conversion
I know - another bad strut issue. I will try to keep it brief...
I am trying to gather some information for a passive front suspension conversion for my '98 Deville Concours and was wondering if anyone out there had done this themselves? I know that there are the Strutmaster and Arnott kits available, but it just seems like they are charging a couple of hundred bucks for off the shelf struts? Anyone know what struts will (mechanically) fit the application? I know I would still have to contend with the electrical aspect for the RSS, but I am not too worried about that (there are a lot of posts about different resistive and inductive loads that you can use, and I am not adverse to trying a couple to try to get the computer to cooperate). If anyone out there knows what struts will fit (similar application or what have you) or if you have done this yourself, please let me know. Also, if you have done either of the big-name conversions, I would love to hear what kind of success you have had.

Re: 98 Deville Passive Conversion
Your car has the CVRSS system. You can find information on the electronics needed in this thread: http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...CVRSS+resistor
I'm not sure on the actual part numbers for the struts though. Maybe someone else will know.
