    INSTALLED ANTISWAY KIT STILL THUMP/clunk

Today had antisway link kit installed Front & Rear

    94 Concour N* 4.6l FE1 Soft suspension.

Car handles much "tighter" now but still Clunk Thump sound from front Both sides and esp right rear...

    Nothing appears loose or worn..

    What else could it be?

I am throwing dollars and parts at this car and problems remain.

    Regards,

Towards the middle of the bar there are two bushings securing the bar to the frame. Those bushings may be worn, damaged, or even out of place.

If its also in the rear, the culprit could be the rear Knuckles that the bearings sit in, they have rubber bushings top and bottom, and in order to replace those, the whole unit has to be replaced, at around 500 per side. To check, have the car hang on a hoist and with tires off, move the rear control arms up and down, that is the only way to tell if you have movement.

I had this exact problem and new bushings fixed it.
