Unhappy Need help with dragging brake....94 ETC

94 Eldorado Touring Coupe. Right rear brake is dragging. No codes on DIC. I replaced the caliper, rotor, pads and flex hose. (New Cadillac Parts) Bled brakes.... Still dragging.( I can open bleed valve and releive pressure on right rear and it turns normally, but once brakes are pumped dragging condition returns.) All other brakes function normally. What do I need to do?

I wish I knew the answer to this myself. My 1992 Eldorado does this on the left rear causing the rim to get really hot on the shortest of trips. I also had replaced the calipers, pads, and hoses but not the rotors as they were good.

I stopped driving this car until I get a chance to take it apart to examine the individual pieces.

I was searching the forum for a clue before I took it apart hoping the answer would be here.

I fear that debris got into the ABS, caliper, or rigid brake line causing a blockage.

I would check the proportioning valve for that line.

Thank you for the reply to my post, 91TexasSeville, and Krashed989. I will check the proportioning valve for the right rear. ( location? inboard of left rear wheel , correct? )

Good point KRASHED989. Just a matter of diagnosing one bit at a time I guess.

The one for the right rear is actually right where the line bends around the bottom of the firewall, and the one for the left rear is just before the line goes into the rubber hose near the wheel.

EDIT: It's been a while since I've been under there, I might have them backwards... LOL

If I remember correctly....probably not as I'm over 50, the proportioning valve on these cars is Y shaped and flow directional to the head of the Y. Correct?

I really appreciate the help gentlemen. My local Cadillac dealer has a proportioning valve in stock. I hope to have it installed by noon Wednesday. I will advise you of the results.

Fixxed!!! Good call, Krashed989 . For future reference: Rear Valve Asm. GM p/n 18018429 $53.55 . A 12mm crowsfoot line wrench 3/8 drive makes the job easier. Thanks fellas
