tire size difference?
Hello Group, I have an '89 Fleetwood Sedan and am looking for new tires. The recommended size is 205/70/R15, but I'm looking at a set 205/75/R15. I've been told the 205/75 will work. But what I'm worried about is the clearance in the wheelwell. Am I safe to use the 205/75 size and not have to worry about hitting the wheel wells, or should I stick with the 205/70? And are there any other concerns with the larger wheel such as milage vs gas efficiency? Thank you for any advise!

Re: tire size difference?
I'm pretty sure you'll be ok. The only major concern is MAYBE your speedometer will be off by a MPH or so. On highway driving there's a chance it might very slightly increase your mileage too, the tire is bigger so the car goes farther per revolution. I doub't it will be anything notable though.
