    Steering Noise

I have been noticing a slight but annoying grinding noise in the right front when I turn the wheels. I checked the ps fluid level awhile ago and it was fine. No leak that I could see from above or on the floor. Do I just need some lube? (Someone say yes, please.) The dealer checked the front end when doing the coolant change and thought everything was ok.

    Re: Steering Noise

GM's powersteering pumps are infamous for being loud at times. I wouldn't be too worried about it, it's unlikely that it would escalate into a serious problem. Though it wouldn't hurt anything to change the power steering fluid.

Be sure that it's the pump before you relax!
